After a difficult 12-year marriage, I found myself feeling lost and unsure of what my future held. But I knew one thing for certain: I was ready for love and happiness. So, I decided to take a leap of faith and download the Mutual app. I had a few specific requirements, but I never could have imagined the incredible journey that lay ahead. On June 3rd, 2022, I connected with a woman named Doris who lived in Peru. Despite our language barrier and the fact that we had both recently come out of long-term marriages, we felt an instant connection. We found a way to communicate and our love for each other continued to grow. In a few months, we knew that we had found something truly special. We decided to get married, and in September 2022, I made my way to Peru to propose officially. Despite obstacles and tests along the way, we always felt the Lord guiding us and bringing us closer together. We were able to get married civilly on December 6th, 2022, and spend Christmas together. We are grateful for the Lord’s guidance and the means He provided to answer our prayers. We’re looking forward to be sealed in the temple this year.
