Hi, Mutual friends! I have a fun, ironic success story. I was freelance writing Summer of 2020 and wrote a few articles for Mutual’s blog about long-distance and pandemic dating. I ended one of my last emails with Mutual: “PS, I’m going on another date with someone on Saturday…that I met on Mutual. I’m a dating gremlin and totally hate it, but I like this guy. We’ll see, haha!” Reader, I married him. I wrote about a bunch of dating and relationship-specific topics right before I experienced them firsthand. That delightful irony isn’t lost on me. We’re coming up on our first anniversary in a few weeks!
