Hello, my name is Sarah, and I met my eternal companion on mutual. It all started when I moved to Provo Utah and knew very few people. One day we were driving to go on a date, and he looked at me and said ” Sarah would you… like me if I was a dog” after this, he admitted that he was going to ask me to be his girlfriend but got nervous and instead asked me if I liked him as a dog. Sometime later we were in the Chick-Fila-A drive-thru, and Danny was laughing at his phone like crazy and then looked up and asked me to be his girlfriend. Later I found out he was laughing so hard because he had texted his friends to hype him up to get the courage to ask me.
Our story continued with many trips, laughs, and tears. We were growing to be a great team. We started talking about marriage and starting our eternal life together. I waited and waited for him to purpose. It felt like forever! One day I felt it was going to happen, so I put on a cute outfit, did my makeup and hair, and was so excited for our date that night. He was planning to take me back to the hike where we had our first date. Then he canceled the hike and said he just wanted to hang out at my place. I will admit I was crushed, a few tears were shed. We were sitting in my apartment watching tv, and Danny noticed how sad I was. He asked me if I would like his ring, and I laughed and said no. He then grabbed a gorgeous ring out of his pocket and asked me to marry him. It was perfect, many people think engagements have to be an elaborate ordeal, but not all of them are. I didn’t much care about how the engagement happened I just wanted to marry him.
Now here we are. A full year after our first date and we are married and living in our perfect little old home. I am so excited to spend an eternity with this man, and I am so lucky that I was on mutual at the perfect time and matched with him.
